Definitions

• "solstiques" / "we" / "us" — refers to solstiques, a vehicle hire service registered in Singapore, operating from 12 Marina View, #42-01, Asia Square Tower 2, Singapore 018961.
• "Client" / "you" — any individual or entity making an enquiry, booking, or using our services.
• "Service" — any of the vehicle hire arrangements offered by solstiques, including the Golden Hour Drive, Weekly Touring Hire, and Heritage Procession Service.
• "Booking" — a confirmed reservation for a service, acknowledged in writing by solstiques.
• "Agreement" — these Terms & Conditions, together with any booking confirmation issued by solstiques.

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry through our website or proceeding with a booking by any means, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

Our services are available to individuals aged 18 and above who have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement under Singapore law. If you are booking on behalf of another party or a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that party to these terms.

Service Description

solstiques offers three vehicle hire services in Singapore:

• Golden Hour Drive — a chauffeured experience timed to coincide with Singapore's evening golden hour, approximately 2.5 hours in duration. Priced at SGD 390.
• Weekly Touring Hire — a seven-day self-drive arrangement with delivery and collection included. Priced at SGD 1,750.
• Heritage Procession Service — a multi-vehicle arrangement for traditional cultural ceremonies, typically 4–8 hours in duration with 2–6 vehicles. Priced from SGD 2,200.

Service availability is subject to vehicle and driver availability. solstiques reserves the right to substitute equivalent vehicles where necessary, with prior notice where possible.

Booking & Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only once solstiques has issued a written confirmation by email or message. Submission of an enquiry form does not constitute a confirmed booking.

• Clients should submit requests at least 5 business days in advance for Golden Hour and Weekly Hiring, and at least 14 days in advance for Heritage Procession bookings
• A deposit may be required to secure the booking; details will be communicated at the time of confirmation
• Any special requests (photographer add-on, specific routes, ceremonial requirements) must be communicated before confirmation

User Responsibilities

For Self-Drive Hires (Weekly Touring)

• You must hold a valid driving licence recognised in Singapore (including IDP where applicable)
• You must not operate the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances
• You are responsible for any traffic fines, parking charges, or ERP charges incurred during the hire period
• The vehicle must not be used for unlicensed commercial activity
• You must report any accident or vehicle damage to solstiques immediately

For All Services

• You must provide accurate information at the time of booking
• You must treat solstiques staff and drivers with courtesy
• You are responsible for the conduct of all passengers during the service
• No smoking is permitted in any solstiques vehicle

Payment Terms

• All prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable
• A deposit of 50% may be required to confirm Heritage Procession bookings
• The remaining balance is due no later than 48 hours before the service commences
• Accepted payment methods include bank transfer and major credit cards as advised at time of booking
• Overdue payments may result in cancellation of the booking at solstiques's discretion

Cancellation & Refunds

• 7+ days before service: Full refund of any deposit paid
• 3–6 days before service: 50% of total booking value retained
• Less than 72 hours before service: No refund; full payment applies
• Cancellation by solstiques: Full refund provided where solstiques is unable to fulfil the booking for reasons within its control

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, design, imagery, and branding — is the property of solstiques or its content suppliers and is protected under applicable Singapore and international intellectual property law.

You may access and view this content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use any part of our website content without prior written consent from solstiques.

Disclaimers

Our services are provided on a professional basis. However, we make no assurances about specific outcomes, including the experience of natural lighting conditions for the Golden Hour Drive, which are subject to Singapore's weather.

solstiques is not a licensed travel agent, tour operator, or medical or legal advisor. Nothing on this website constitutes professional advice of any kind.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted under Singapore law, solstiques's total liability arising from any single booking shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for that booking.

We are not liable for indirect losses, consequential damages, loss of enjoyment, or losses arising from events outside our reasonable control, including acts of government, extreme weather, or third-party failures.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless solstiques, its staff, and its service partners against any claims, damages, or costs arising from your breach of these terms, your negligent or unlawful conduct, or any damage caused to a solstiques vehicle during a self-drive hire period.

Termination

solstiques reserves the right to terminate a service in progress or cancel a confirmed booking without refund where a client or their party engages in conduct that is abusive, unlawful, or poses a risk to drivers, vehicles, or third parties.

Clients may terminate their use of our services at any time subject to the cancellation terms in Section 7.

Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from a booking or these terms shall first be referred to informal resolution by contacting us at [email protected].

If informal resolution fails within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to mediation through the Singapore Mediation Centre. Any remaining disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These terms, together with any booking confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and solstiques for the relevant service.
• Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• Waiver: Failure by solstiques to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of that term.
• Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under these terms to any other party without solstiques's prior written consent.

Changes to Terms

solstiques may revise these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. For bookings already confirmed at the time of a revision, the terms in effect at the time of confirmation apply.
